The food is plated beautifully and, as mentioned. This lends itself to a noisy environment. The whole restaurant has high ceilings and (I believe) tile or wood flooring. It's dim lighting and center fire place add to the romance. The big front room is desirable for intimate dinners. The ambiance is different throughout the restaurant however. The food is always great and original using fresh ingredients. The tappas style dining it offers may take some getting used to for those who aren't familiar with it. S.O.S.: Shorts or Suit, come down and enjoy!!!Įmbers is a gem! It doesn't compare to any other in the area, in my opinion. Our well trained staff will make your selection approachable and fun. Our menus will changes with the seasons, our wood fire selections are cooked with real wood, our wine and micro brew selections are large and extensive. Our hope is that you, our customer, will enjoy the combination of stunning modern architecture and old charm: simple, good food "meant to share" from farm to plate. Reservations are definitely highly recommended (and days if not weeks in advance to get your preferred time). Plus they come with the wonderful hand cut fries! The bread and butter that comes before the main dishes is always wonderful and tasty. The raspberry jalapeño chicken wing sauce is definitely a winner and my favorite wing sauce from Ember (or potentially anywhere)! I cannot say enough about the beef sliders - they are simply delicious, fresh, and quite sizable (they're more like burgers than sliders). We had tried the egg rolls and mac and cheese in the past, as well as other chicken wing sauces. We ordered the sweet potato egg rolls, woodfired mac and cheese, the raspberry jalapeño chicken wings, and the beef sliders. This most recent time was probably the best meal I've had from Ember.
